A 32-year-old healthy patient who has had two vaginal deliveries presents with complaints of urine leakage with laughing, coughing and sneezing.
She initially noticed the urine leakage following the birth of her second baby two years ago. At first, the urine leakage was with coughing, however now it is happening very frequently, with minimal straining.
She is presently trying to lose weight, but she cannot exercise because the urine leakage requires her to wear a pad and keep changing them as they get quite soaked. She is unable to do jumping jacks as the leakage is significant and the urine would run outside the pad onto her clothes. She refuses to wear pull-up diapers! She is very frustrated and is looking for solutions. She was concerned about the bladder suspension procedures.
